This workshop, taught by professionals in the affiliate marketing industry, will introduce affiliate marketing and how it can benefit a business both online and off at almost no upfront expense to a company.  It will discuss the history of the affiliate marketing industry, how it works, how to develop an affiliate marketing program and, most importantly, how to maintain and grow it into a significant portion of a company’s online sales totals. About the instructor:  A 2005 UCLA Anderson School graudate specializing in Internet Marketing, Mat Nastos has been active on the web since the early 90s.  Focused on affiliate and niche marketing, Mat’s original website (sold in early 2008) was responsible for referring over $2,000,000 in sales to his affiliate partners.  That number has grown to $3,000,000 in 2009 alone.  Over the course of his business career, Mat has become a master at developing content driven affiliate websites, in building a sites expert status online and in building a rapport with his visitors that results in higher conversion rates than his competitors.  He has also managed affiliate programs for a number of e-commerce companies, which resulted in a 50% increase in online business and became responsible for 33% of sales for the companies.
